Ukrainian Software Company Ratmir Labs Reports 2004 as a Year of Key Importance

(PRWEB) February 23, 2005

“2004 has been a year of key importance for us. Two and a half years ago Ratmir Labs was planned as an IT-company of a new generation. Today one can say the plans came true”, – that was the leitmotif of the discussion taken place at the annual meeting of the company Ratmir Labs (http://www.ratmirlabs.com) which develops business and custom-made software for customers in Western Europe, Northern America, and other countries.

In 2004 several projects have been successfully accomplished for the customers in Ukraine and Russia. There have been developed automatic control systems for enterprises in food and oil-and-gas industries and for several gas station chains.

In the second half of 2004 special attention has been driven to the creation and expansion of the programming outsourcing course. There have been established relations with STZ Ost-West-Kooperationen Company (an Economy Development Fund’s department in technology transfers, Steinbeis GmbH & Co.) which nowadays acts on behalf of company Ratmir Labs on the German market as its representative. The company has been established relations with the major associations and consortiums of outsourcing programming in Ukraine. Negotiations on several projects for the customers in Germany and Canada have been in progress.

These achievements prove the correctness of the strategy stated at the moment of the company’s foundation in 2002. Ratmir Labs founders, who were professionals having great work experience at the subsidiaries of Western companies and leading Ukrainian software ones, intended to create a next generation IT-company.

In the early 90-th of 20th century, IT-specialists of CIS had great theoretical and practical knowledge in creation of complex software. Nevertheless, after the collapse of the USSR, a matter of urgency for the IT-companies of CIS became the quick transition to the market conditions and principles of industrial software engineering. The preferences and needs of customers suffered drastic changes. Moreover, that was the time of rapid development of IT-technologies in the whole world and the period of internet boom.

As a result, during last 15 years the IT-industry in CIS has substantially changed. The new generation of managers and specialists ready and able to work under the standards adopted in the world has been formed. A number of CIS countries have been recognized as centers for outsourcing software development.

To establish a technology cutting-edge IT-company based on the latest achievements of IT-technology and software development management was the goal of Ratmir Labs founders. The energy, flexibility and innovative spirit of the young company combined with the experience, know-how and qualification of the professionals gathered in it result in high productivity, work quality and client-oriented activity. These were the aims of the company leaders, those were the ideas the logotype of Ratmir Labs embodies.

Moreover, some founders (in particular, the business association Ratmir, Moscow) considered the Ratmir Labs as a way to reduce the expenses on the software development by carrying out this activity from Moscow to Kharkov (Ukraine). Kharkov has ever been the center of science, technology and education. Meanwhile, it has gained an importance as one of the Ukrainian first-rate providers of software outsourcing services.

Of course, also on its way of development the company has faced with some problems. Time was required to hire some specialists because not all candidates met the requirements concerning the quality. Also it took time to transform the general methods and recommendations of management into the effectively working corporative standards.

Currently, one can say the expectations of Ratmir Labs founders proved being correct. Being based on marketing research and consultations with leading specialists of the branch, the automation systems for the wholesale and oil retail enterprises were engineered and developed. Among them are SmartOil system (equipment and technological process management on a gas station) and SmartOil Office (operative accounting and gas stations chain control). The system SmartOil Cards (the hard- and software complex for the non-cash payments by plastic cards) has been created and implemented in cooperation with the company ОRGА Zelenograd (http://www.orga.ru).

The department of Ratmir Labs responsible for the automation of technological processes has been formed. To its achievements counts development of the mazut terminal dispatch control system for the company “Bashatomterminal” and automated cheese production control system for the plant “Staritskii syr” (Russia).

In 2004 Ratmir Labs Company has gotten the IFSF Technical Correspondent status (as part of the business association Ratmir). IFSF (The International Forecourt Standards Forum, http://www.ifsf.org) is an international organization for standardization supported by leading oil companies of the world. IFSF was established in 1993 to provide the compatibility and standardization of communication protocols for oil trade facilities. At the present IFSF protocol is also used in the ‘Intelligent building’ projects.

Very promising appear the first contacts with the Western customers. At the moment, under consideration are several projects on the C++ software development on Linux-platforms for German customers.

Such a diversification of Ratmir Labs activity is aimed at stability and reliability increase on the market. This purpose is also supported by the business association Ratmir which plays the role of an additional guarantee. An appropriate legislative support during the cooperation with Western customers guarantee our representatives and partners in Germany and Canada.

This year Ratmir Labs plans further improvement of the automation systems supplied, and improvement of the processes of control and production with the aim of their consistent preparation for the ISO standard certification.

Sell Forcados – Guides to Find Buyers of Forcados

If you are looking for buyers of mazut m100 (fuel oil), d2 (diesel oil), blco (bonny light crude oil), bitumen (petroleum asphalt), then there is a genuine way to find them both online and offline. One of the genuine ways to find them online is through the use of business to business sites. Business to business sites contains buyers of crude oil. Most real buyers of crude oil do not like wasting time. They need sellers who can perform, that is a seller who has the product. They also want a seller that can show proof of product before they issue proof of fund. The equation is POP = POF. It should not be any form of POP but it should be one that can be verified and ascertained to be valid and authentic.

Another thing most buyers want is sellers that can work with their own procedure. This is very peculiar to bonny light crude oil and forcados buyers. Most times the first clause on their procedure is: vessel name and location. This is not always the case. BLCO buyers may also want verifiable product allocation certificate from NNPC or details of a loaded vessel so they can verify and proceed to sign a contract. As for mazut 100, jp54, bitumen and d2 buyers, they need sellers that can show POP in form SGS or refinery commitment to produce the crude.

If you are a seller and you are not able to meet the buyer’s preferred criteria above, you do not have to worry. This is so because different buyers have their respective criteria. Some of the online sites where you can find buyers of mazut m100, jp54, bitumen, d2, blco and forcados to sell your product are tradekeys, eczplaza, spaintraders, fuzing and alibaba. This is a few of b2b sites where buyers can be found. You should note that you can hardly find end buyers at these sites. The types of buyers you can find are intermediary buyers. If you want to work with end buyers, then you need to write to refineries who are the end buyers of raw crude oil. As for refined crude oil, you should write to major oil dealers who buy and store at fuel depot from where it is supplied to filling stations to be sold to consumers. Selling raw and refined crude oil to major oil dealers requires the use of professional experience. You need to show something that certifies you as a serious and genuine businessman.

Uptown Oil Enterprises is a crude oil trading company which has able, willing and ready buyers of crude oil. If you are looking for an able, willing and ready crude oil buyer, try Uptown Oil Enterprises
